Tandem was born from swing, but grew through its people: an open community that learns, practises, goes out and celebrates in and beyond class.

How it all began
Dance only exists when there is connection
Tandem is the name of an iconic swing step and sums up how we understand dance: two people listening to each other, coordinating and moving in the same direction.
Since 2014 we have taught Lindy Hop, Tap Dance, Balboa, Jazz Steps, Rock&Roll and other disciplines in Palma. But we do not teach isolated classes: we build a place to practise, meet and create genuine relationships away from screens.
Our team brings together more than twenty years of artistic, teaching and cultural management experience. Technique matters, but it serves something greater: being able to dance with anyone, on any floor and to any music.

A welcoming atmosphere does not happen by chance: we design and care for it in every class, practice and party.

You can come alone and start from scratch. We create open, safe spaces without elitism so everyone can find their place.

We open in Palma with swing as a common language and the intention of building a lasting social scene.
