2. What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you write to us via the contact form, we collect your name and email address. We use them only to reply to your enquiry. We do not share them with third parties or use them for unsolicited communications.
Course registration
To manage your enrolment we need identification data (name and surname), contact details (email and phone) and, where applicable, payment data. Payment data is processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers on our servers.
Browsing the website
When you visit our site we collect anonymised technical information (pages viewed, time on site, device type) through analytics tools. This does not personally identify you and is used to improve the site.
Social networks
If you interact with us on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, data you share on those platforms is subject to their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following legal bases, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Consent: for the contact form and the use of analytics and marketing cookies.
- Performance of a contract: to manage your course registration and collect fees.
- Legitimate interest: for statistical analysis of browsing and to improve our services.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax and accounting obligations arising from the provision of services.
4. Recipients and third parties
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. However, to provide our services we work with the following trusted providers, who act as processors:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe privacy policy.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics / GA4) — visit analytics. Google privacy policy.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook Pixel) — ad campaign measurement. Meta privacy policy.
All these providers have appropriate safeguards for international data transfers where applicable.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:
- Contact form: up to 1 year from the last communication.
- Enrolment and active student data: for the duration of the contractual relationship plus 5 years for tax obligations.
- Payment data: as required by applicable tax law (generally 5 years).
- Analytics data: the period set by the relevant platform (Google Analytics: 14 months by default).
6. Your rights
As a data subject you have the following rights under the GDPR and national law:
- Access: Know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction: Request that we limit how we use your data.
- Portability: Receive your data in a readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing in certain cases.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@tandem-club.com stating your name, which right you wish to exercise, and a copy of your ID. We will respond within one month at the latest.
If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.
